1. Press the thin end of the enclosed gap opener into the gap between the frame surrounding the air vent and the dashboard, to widen the gap. Press the grooved edge on the lower part of Part 1 into the gap next to the gap opener. Press until you hear/feel it snaps into place. Pull out the gap opener. Press the gap opener into the gap between the frame surrounding the air vent and the dashboard. Press forwards on the upper part of Part 1 so the grooved edge goes into the gap next to the gap opener. Press forward alternately on the left and right side of the upper part of Part 1 until you hear/feel it snaps into place. Pull out the gap opener.
2. Peel off the adhesive tape cover on Part 2. place Part 2 onto Part 1.
