Please read all of the instructions and look at the pictures before attaching the ProClip. It is important to install the ProClip first: any holder/equipment is to be attached after the ProClip is in place.   1. Hold the enclosed gap opener above the air vent and press the thin end into the gap between the frame surrounding the air vent and the dashboard, to widen the gap. Press the upper edge of the ProClip into the gap next to the gap opener.  
2. Pull out the gap opener and press into the gap between the frame surrounding the air vent and the dashboard by the right edge of the frame. Slide/push the gap opener downward in the gap so it reaches the position shown in the picture. Hook the lower edge of the ProClip into the gap next to the gap opener. Adjust the lower part of the ProClip until you hear/feel it snaps into place. Pull out the gap opener.  
3. This ProClip can be placed anywhere within the width of the air vent. It can also be placed onto the air vent on the left side of the steering wheel.  
4. The ProClip is in place.
