1. Press the thin end of the enclosed gap opener into the gap between the stereo and the surrounding frame, to widen the gap. Peel off the cover of the adhesive tape on Part 1.
2. Press the angled edge on Part 1 into the gap below the gap opener. Press to the right on Part 1, away from the steering wheel, so the angled edge hooks behind the stereo and the adhesive attaches to the frame surrounding the stereo. Pull out the gap opener.
