1. Peel off the adhesive tape cover on Part 1. Place Part 1 as shown in the picture, so the left side of the angled edge is aligned with the gap in the control panel.
2. Press the angled edge on Part 1 into the gap between the frame surrounding the control panel and the dashboard. Press Part 1 forward/upward so the angled edge hooks behind the frame surrounding the control panel and the adhesive tape attaches to the dashboard.
