1. Press the thin end of the enclosed gap opener into the gap in the dashboard, to widen the gap. Peel off the cover of the adhesive tape on Part 1.
2. Press the angled edge on part 1 into the gap next to the gap opener. Press Part 1 forward/upward so the angled edge goes all the way into the gap and hooks behind the lower part of the dashboard. Pull out the gap opener.
